This Privacy Policy describes how the Video-DownloaDR.com Chrome extension (“the Extension”) handles information when you use it.

1. Single purpose

The Extension’s only purpose is to help you save a video you can already play as a single MP4 file (video + audio) when you choose to start a download yourself, for personal use.

2. Data we process

When you start a download, the Extension may process:

• Video page URL for the video you asked to save
• Session cookies from your browser, used only so that request can use the same signed-in access you already have
• Local extension settings stored with Chrome storage (for example UI preferences)

We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, payment information, health data, or browsing history outside the download you start.

3. How data is used

• The video URL and session cookies are sent over HTTPS to the Video-DownloaDR.com conversion API only when you start a save.
• Temporary cookie files used for a job are deleted after processing.
• The finished MP4 is saved through Chrome’s download system to your device.

4. Storage and retention

• Local settings stay on your device until you clear extension data or uninstall.
• Server-side temporary job data is kept only as long as needed to complete the conversion and deliver the file.
• Generated media files may be available briefly on the server for download delivery, then removed according to server cleanup rules.

5. Sharing

We do not sell user data. Data is not shared with third parties for advertising or unrelated analytics. Processing is limited to operating the download service you requested.

6. Permissions

The Extension requests permissions only for this purpose, including access related to the active video tab, scripting on supported watch pages, cookies needed for a user-started save, storage for settings, and Chrome downloads to save the MP4.

7. Security

Communication with Video-DownloaDR.com uses HTTPS. Session credentials are handled only for the download job you initiate.

8. Your choices

• You control when downloads start (manual click).
• You can remove the Extension at any time in Chrome’s extension settings.
• You can clear site/extension data from Chrome settings.
